PROJECTS

What I build when nobody assigns it.

Platforms architected end to end — domain model, backend, frontend, integrations, infrastructure, and the operational tooling required to actually run them.

The career record is on Experience. This is the other half: what twenty years of that produces when the constraint is only time. Ventures I own outright are on Products.

PROJECTS.00

Four capabilities, one body of work.

Twenty years building software, then enterprise engineering, then architecture leadership — and now shipping complete products independently. The combination is the point; none of these four stands alone.

  • 01

    Product engineering

Taking an idea from concept to production — including the operational tooling and admin surfaces that decide whether it can actually be run.

  • 02

    Systems architecture

Designing domains, integrations, data flows, asynchronous workflows, and the boundaries that let a system keep changing after launch.

  • 03

    Frontend & UX engineering

Deep frontend experience with formal UX training — enough of both to bridge engineering and product design rather than hand off between them.

  • 04

    Full-stack engineering

Frontend, backend, database, integrations, infrastructure, and deployment. The whole path, which is why the projects below exist at all.

ERP Data Mapping Platform

Frontend architect · Full-stack engineer

Replaced a spreadsheet-driven ERP import workflow with a purpose-built application. Users had been hand-mapping XLS files into Sage Intacct; the new system let them upload, review, map fields visually, and run large imports asynchronously while continuing to work.

  • Held up when live volume exceeded the original scope by hundreds of thousands of records
  • Visual field mapping replacing manual spreadsheet mapping
  • Queue-backed import/export so large jobs never block a request
  • Frontend completion notifications for asynchronous work

Shared UI & Design System

Frontend architect

A shared component library and CSS foundation distributed over NPM and consumed by both React and Angular applications. Drew architectural cues from Tailwind, Bootstrap, IBM Carbon, and Ramsey's Gazelle — with accessibility built into the primitives rather than documented beside them.

  • 30–40% faster frontend development across adopting teams
  • Framework-agnostic CSS foundation consumed by React and Angular
  • Design tokens and reusable UI primitives
  • Accessibility as a property of the components, not a checklist
  • Contribution path so the system was not a central-team bottleneck

Aviation ↔ Sage Intacct Integration

Two systems of record disagreed about the same transactions. The durable fix was not a better sync job — it was deciding, field by field, which system owns what, and making disagreement visible instead of silent.

Smaller builds and experiments. Included because execution speed is its own signal, not because they are architecture.
